We knew you would ask this question! There are many reasons and factors that enable us to maintain such lower prices:

• SikhLink, LLC was not started as a primary profit-making business, but is actually a resource to bring our rich literature and heritage to this western hemisphere and maybe over time to the other parts of this world. The aim was to setup a one-stop shopping center where Sikhism-related books, musical instruments, and other miscellaneous items could be bought at low prices.
• Being an internet business, we don't have a lot of overhead expenses like warehouse prices, mortgages, etc. We definitely do incur a lot of freight, shipping, and forwarding charges to get our shipments from India and other places and those charges are reflected in our sale prices. As our business grows and we get more orders, we'll be able to minimize these charges to further reduce our prices!
• There is one trade-off though. You wait to get the low prices. We try to fill every order from our inventory, but large orders have to wait for our next shipment and it can take almost 4 months for a shipment to arrive from India. So if you plan ahead of time and order 4-5 months prior to your need, you can save a lot.
